Illinois requirements for continuing education is as follows:

Salesperson licenses expire on April 30 of ODD numbered years

• 6 hours of Core classes (Core A and Core B)
• 6 hours of Elective classes
• You cannot receive credit twice for the same class in any renewal period
• If you are a new licensee and it is less than 1 year before your license renews, you need no CE.
• If you are a new licensee and it is more than 1 year, but less than 2 years, before your license renews, you need 6 hours of CE (3 Core and 3 elective).
  
  

Broker licenses expire on April 30 of EVEN numbered years

• 6 hours of Core classes (Core A and Core B)
• 6 hours of Elective classes
• 6 hours of Broker Management
